OZO Hotels De President puts sustainability into practice every day. With more than 1,000 solar panels, the hotel generates its own energy. The parking area includes solar carports: covered parking fitted with 864 panels, producing around 356,000 kWh of green electricity per year.

The solar carports also support a smart energy system that helps reduce pressure on the grid. Solar generation, battery storage, and EV charging work together as one setup, providing a reliable power supply and responsible charging for both guests and staff.

Across the property, additional measures help cut energy use, including improved insulation, triple-glazed windows, motion sensors, and 100% LED lighting.
